While we celebrated Easterand had a good time with our family, boys had a rough day.

Unfortunatlley an intervention was need it, because George feltverysickbetweenCamp 2 -5700 m andCamp 3- 6500 m. He was together with Zsolt, on a ice wall and finally succeded to go down untill bivouc place(more than 6 000 m) where they had their equipment deposit.

The boys were taken from this place, and George to be transported directly to the hospital from Kaithmandu where will stay 3-4 days for medical cares. He is fine now,but still needs a fiew days in hospital.

Zsolt, Cristi and Cătă are fine, in base camp and will continue expedition in team of 3 untill George’s condition will be clarified. Cătă has a hurt leg, but we hope everything to be fine again and the boys will achieve their goals.

What is good , is the fact that Romanian team could interfere and alert rescue team, and saved their life.

To bad 17 000 people from institutions don’thave a helicopter like this and live in inhuman conditions where their life is in danger.

Even if we give evidence of abuse and these situations for many years ,there is no real step for deinstitutionalization.

Journalists from Aljazira made a documentary about situation of these people forgotten, neglected and abused, and we don’t understand why journalists from other countries need to emphazise again severe problems from our country. What is even worse is that nothing happens in this direction.

We hope money not to be invested in those institutions, but to develope community based services, where people can have a decent life and be utile to society.
