Although we found out later about the 3 laws for which the expected proposals for amendments to the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Protection, our group of self-advocates thought to make a letter of principle concerning our desire to be heard in our opinions .

We wrote this letter because we decided to no longer be just spectators regarding decisions that affect us, so we got attitude. We sent our proposals both persons involved in the decision-making and Mrs. Sulfina Barbu, Minister of Labor, Family and Social Protection.

At the same time we asked that in the future we should be invited to meetings in which decisions are taken regarding persons with disabilities, to be listen and to take account of our views.
